The wonder of Dreams

August 15, 2018

Job 33:14-18

For God does speak—now one way, now another—
    though no one perceives it.
In a dream, in a vision of the night,
when deep sleep falls on people
as they slumber in their beds,
he may speak in their ears
    and terrify them with warnings,
to turn them from wrongdoing
    and keep them from pride,
to preserve them from the pit,
their lives from perishing by the sword.

Bobbie Brown (ACTS Alum "17" & ACTS Mentor) was sharing a crazy dream she had.  In the dream she looked outside and saw a tornado in the distance. The clouds were dark and it began to rain so hard she could barely see.  So she decided to take a walk. What? (Well, it's a dream, what do you expect).  Luckily, she said she had her ACTS keychain with the little flashlight at the end of it (See below). So off she went on her walk.  The rain slowed down and she asked a guy in a truck for a ride home.  Ok, I know, probably not a vision from God but it is a great reminder that ACTS goal is to point one another to God - our Light and our Guide through the storms of life.
